Need to spend some 150$ on a pedal

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm going to sell one of my tubescreamers and ehx booster to our guitar player, as she is going to quit worship band, but still wants to keep those pedals. I will get some 150$ for both. I don't usually like to sell my music equipment, so I want to buy another pedal for this money. Now I mostly use only 1 pedal - MXR Bass Auto Q and I would like to have some other filter, maybe different kind of. What could be the recommendations?
P.S. If pedal worth it I can add some more money to my budget.

Maxon AF-9. Used, it's within your price range, New, you'd have to add $20 or $30 I think. It's a great filter.

I really enjoyed the EMMA Discumbobulator when I had it. It's a bit on the subtle side, but the sound is very open and organic (as opposed to harsh and synthy). In a word, I'd say it sounds like "honey" - sweet, sticky, drippy. New they're about $200-ish, but you might be able to find a used one in your budget.

Something a bit more on the wild side might be the Digitech Bass Synth Wah. It has a variety of filter settings, and has one of the best-tracking octave sounds around. They can be found for less than $60 (used) usually...which leaves money for another toy
