Need a volume pedal with volume knob...

... like this one... True Bypass Switching Systems, Guitar Effects, A/B Pedals, Pedal Boards, Stompboxes, Guitar Buffers, DIY Kits!!!

but smaller. The one in the picture is actually smaller than what they offer. Their 4 volume pedals are 2 7/8" x 4 3/4" x 2 3/8". I'm looking for something in the size of the xotic EP Booster or smaller.

What I need it for is to reduce my signal before it hits the VT Bass. As I posted in another thread, the active signal coming from my Sadowsky or Lakland basses is too hot for the VT which makes the lows fart out. The solution is to turn down the volume on my bass but I'm hating this. It's hard to always have the exact same volume and would rather just leave the volume on all the way. I also tried to turn down the volume on my wireless (which feeds the pedalboard), but I find it changes the tone. I thought I had found the solution with the RoadRage pedal, but it would be taking up way to much realestate.

Anyone have leads on where I could find what I'm looking for? A very small signal "cutter", as opposed to booster.

I know... I could make it myself, it's rewarding, you can learn quickly and then be able to build your own pedals, etc. I just don't have the time to do that right now. Although, I might ask my guitar player build me one if I can find what I'm looking for here.

Thanks,
R

Honestly, you could make that in 2 hours max. There's nothing to it at all. A volume pot, 2 jacks, a box and a few feet of wire.
