New bass pedals at Winter NAMM 2013.

...oh, wait - I'm not DiscoFreq! :D

Did I miss it or has this year's version of this most awesome thread not appeared yet?

FYI - I did see the Pigtronix thread...

DiscoFreq! Give us the goods! Pleez!

I am not really excited about any of these pedals. The Amptweaker sounds good (excane's demo), MiBass could be handy for some people and I bet some folks are going to love the Pigtronix and MXR pedals.

The Pigtronix phaser and compressor look interesting.

That was released in 2010, not really new at NAMM? :)

But I forgot to add the Microtubes Vintage, added it now :)

d180fuzz 01-19-2013 04:12 PM

Sweet! Thanks DiscoFreq!

rr5025 01-19-2013 04:16 PM

That Mibass seems relevant to my interests. I don't suppose they've released anymore info about it?

d180fuzz 01-19-2013 04:21 PM

Boy, that Microtubes Vintage has some nice tones in it.

bigchiefbc 01-19-2013 07:29 PM

I'd still like someone to come out with a pitch-to-midi converter, except, ya know, one that actually ... works.

a bass version of that Fishman TriplePlay

Alesis AmpDock
The AmpDock fully encloses your iPad or iPad 2 in a rugged and portable device made especially for guitarists and bassists.

:hyper:
Looks amazing. I wonder if this concept would be the way to go on future digital modellers.
The drawback: For ipad v1 and 2 only (not 3 or 4)

Mound of Sound 01-20-2013 06:44 AM

^^^ Wasn't the Ampdock at last year's NAMM??

DeltaPhoenix 01-20-2013 07:28 AM

Yup, not new

Swift713 01-20-2013 07:47 AM

So I'm wondering if that MiBass interface would work with an iPhone's power chord for any IOS apps. It looks like a pretty useful tool. Any clue as to price?

SolomonHelsing 01-20-2013 07:59 AM

Having heard the Dr.Green Bearded Lady preview video. It might well be replacing the ashdown own branded overdrive pedal i currently have once it's released and if the other Dr.Green pedals any thing like it I might be spending a bit on pedals depending on what i find i need later.

mjac28 01-20-2013 08:18 AM

Wow some nice stuff.

You're right, sorry. Although I think this never hit the shelves, actually.
But I hope they bring a new version in the next Namm.

Down_Low 01-20-2013 02:31 PM

Anyone know how big the Dr Green pedals are? I'm looking for an octave pedal to fit a fairly small gap on my board.

Also, is it digital or analog?
