They're about $400

Mig as well go new if you see them for 375.

Also.. If you haven't tried one.. They do much more then the Sansamp type tone... It just seems that way becuase a lot of the samples seem to be guys going for that the of tone or they might be running am Ampeg plug in while recording.

Im haven't had a chance to use the eqDI yet. I'll report back when I do.

I bought mine new for 380.00 with free shipping on ebay. Prymaxe vintage treated me very well.

Curious how people are setting this pedal for a clean tone...I haven't really coaxed clean tones that much out of my B3K...share me your settings as I await my B7K!

To get a clean tone you just need to turn the drive and blend knobs down. But I didn't buy it to get clean tones out of it

I was recording with my B3K yesterday. This is setting I used but I wouldn't call it clean. It had a decent edge to it. From there I went into a VT Deluxe to warm it up a bit - going DI.

with the blend and gain rolled off you'll just have an EQ section. I really should start keeping track of different tones i find... i seem to just go from one to the other and then forgetting what i did lol.

a b7k and b3k would be pretty awesome! you could use it like a dual channel

Got my B7K today, and I now feel I have found drive enlightenment. Best investment in my sound in decades.

Agreed! Well, this is obvious given that I designed the pedal, but I really like the EQ on its on too! Specially for funky punchy tones!

I´m not an PCB guru, but I can tell you there is a good improvements in the USA version in terms of visuals.
Input and output are in the same horizontal line its better than have it unaligned.
The panel print quality its more accurate, no dings. The fonts used are more straight readable than the Suomi version.
Future improvements must be:
  • reorder eq knobs putting the mids in the middle (low/lomids/himids/treble).
  • reorder the knobs of the gain stage as it travel (drive/blend/level)
  • better Grunt and Attack graphics.
  • The knobs seem to be a little bit large, but good for a dark stage scenario.
