Wonder if this new one could cover both of those.
Not too keen on the graphics, but, whatever.
Truth is in the tastin'.

Curious how similiar the tone would be to the MetalDrive. I've been gassing for the MetalDrive for a long while now and now Sheehans pedal comes out with extra features.
Really like seeing a Tone knob added, felt that the fixed EQ was one thing that limited the MultiDrive (although it is still amongst my top OD pedals).
Also glad to see EBS is expanding upon their limited format of two knobs and a switch. Would also like to see the UniChorus re-released with this same format with extra controls.
Subscribed in anticipation of sound clips.

Don't really care about how the pedal looks. My first thought was the purple looks identical to Tech21's XXL Bass distortion... which is a cool shade of purple.

Billy himself revealed it on the Facebook Attitude owners group, then again later at an attitude bass day last in the autumn. He even let people have a go - so one of the groups members did (not me, I live far too far away) http://youtu.be/anyPh51u3bA
Definitely seems to be aiming for the Pearce sound on a pedal. On my shopping list!

| | | Regarding the video: I don't think I'd be as relaxed as that dude trying a pedal out in front of Billy on his own bass
Good sounds. Seems to do a lot in a small package. |

Odd that it's not mentioned on the EBS website. Methinks, it's possibly not quite sorted yet.
Ah, just seen that they'll be released and available mid Jan. I guess they will reach the website then.

Really want to check one of these out once available. Saw the video clip a while back and though it sounds great, it is running through Billy Sheehan's complete live rig which is eq'ed and set up by the man himself.
Can't wait to hear how it sounds with different basses etc. as I don't have one of those lovely Yamaha Attitudes! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
