FWIW, the Robot Factory White Russian has this feature, as well as a Mid Hump feature. I used to bypass the tone, but lately I've been switching it onto standard and turning down the blend while cranking the Bass EQ.

I'm thinking this might be the perfect fuzz for my Dirk Lance inspired 3 pedal fuzz setup. You know, removing the tone circuit and using a EQ before it to completely cut highs and boost mids and lows, then blending some clean back in.
