Got an email from EHX today about this new pedal made for Bass. here's what it said
The STEEL LEATHER is a controllable percusive / attack effect designed specifically for bass guitar. Any bass player who wants to cut rough will find the STEEL LEATHER a must have. From a chamois touch to Thor's hammer, the STEEL LEATHER places the electric bass where it should be. Cunningly defined and right in the mix.
picture is included. |

AFAICT it's an expander focused on the bass frequencies, which would be useful for somebody who had a bass with an anemic low end, but would be speaker-murder for anybody whose low end is already loud and spiky. Of course that's based on NAMM blather, not in-hand facts. |

I'm curious to try it out.

Gotta know when it comes out.

Does anyone who spends time on a message board really have such precious little time to spare that they can't answer a guy's question about what some cyber geek abbreviation stands for? |

I am on this forum because I enjoy learning about all things bass. If I have to go and Google "cyber geek abbreviations" just to understand what people are talking about because it's too much of a burden to get a simple answer, then I guess I am in the wrong forum. I didn't ask "what's the best distortion pedal?" or "how do I set up my signal chain?". Was not trying to create an international incident over AFAICT. (BAD WORD) (BAD WORD)

There's been a few smackdowns issued lately, and I was just getting into the spirit of things! Bongo, we need to take a chill pill, maybe eat some of those mushrooms you've been growing in your dirtbox. Lesson learned - If it riles you that people ask questions here because they're too lazy to search elsewhere, then just leave it to somebody else to step in and be helpful and reply rather than bitching about it and frightening people off.
Group hug?
I did laugh though when I read in another post that you were being attacked from England! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
