I don't think anybody's posted about these yet but there are videos from NAMM for the new EHX pedals at gearwire.com. The videos are pretty crap really. The demonstrator isn't very good and the guy with the mic holds it up to the guy's guitar instead of near the amp so half the time all you hear is the guitar, but it's better than nothing.
They're scattered throughout the NAMM Summer 07 section. http://www.gearwire.com/summer-namm-2007.html

So the Electric Mistress does have the Filter Matrix feature built-in... it kicks in past a certain range. Strange approach, but still cool. I wish he'd demonstrated the chorus alone, though - I want to hear how it compares to the Clones!
The Micro POG is as cool as it's ever been, and the other pedals seem pretty interesting, too.
And yeah, the guy with the mic needs to be trained in how to use one...

The man sucks at directing the mic! Also, it's pretty annoying how they never show what these pedals can really do besides what is stated in the manual. I know that some of the pedals are fairly straightforward, but it should take at least more than freak'n 2-5 minutes to run through a ton of talk and maybe one or two examples of the effect recorded (poorly) before the demo of that particular pedal ends. Ah well, I guess I'll still have to go test these out in the stores. |

I have a hunch that the Mistress is digital. Did you see the interviews with Mike Matthews? He claims the Micro POG sounds even better than the regular POG.

I am assuming the guy with the mic doesn't have headphones on, so he can't he what is recording. gearwire.com needs to invest in a cheap pair of headphones! |
