Seems like you are a happy customer. It is cool to be able to find a good deal for a pedal.

Probably. I don't think any of Joyo's pedals are original designs.

Good demo! Sounds like a cranking pedal.

The Ultimate Octave I reviewed is not a OCD copy however the Ultimate Drive I purchased is. I wouldn't recommend Joyo's OCD copy (Ultimate Drive) for Bass Guitar. It's really great with regular guitar though...

I bought mine from YooSmart.com | Y!S Shopping | Yoo!Smart -Accessories for Electronic Gadget

It's a lot of fun for $40!

love the midcut and the octave, however the fuzz isn't quite as dynamic as my mesa tube head, so the joyo is going to be used for vocals, thanks for the tip guys

Wait.. so you wouldn't recommend the JOYO JF-12 Fuzz Ultimate Octave for bass? I thought it sounded great in your review. Considering I just scored a $50 gift card from Amazon, I am definitely considering it.

it sounds good, but it's not my thing, i like the sound of my tube head overdriven/fuzzed out more, i think i had unrealistic expectations, it sounded more synthy in my opinion and i didn't like how the harmonics or muted strings sounded, the fuzz with the mid cut was amazing, and the fuzz with the octave ruled, and the tone knob was highly responsive, i just couldn't get the type of sound i wanted out of it, i couldn't get the nice sound out of it that was in the review either

I picked one of these up off of the 'Bay for $30 in June. I'm really digging it so far.

I'm kind of confused about this brand. The Ultimate Octave from Joyo looks just like The Stooge from Valco, but with different colour and knobs. And then Thomann sells some of the Joyo pedals but with different names. I guess both Thomann and Valco buy the pedals from Joyo.

Now you begin to understand.
