New Gnome Day!

This is probably one of the craziest pedals I've ever encountered. switches knobs pots trim pots galore!

So many sounds, options and controls. yowza

Heard about these a while ago and have always wanted to try one.

I got it today.....used it at rehearsal. Was kind of hard to balance wet/dirty volume, but I didn't really know what the controls did.

I messed around for 30 mins before rehearsal, and I was amazed by the tones I could dial in.....just by twisting knobs in various combinations. Weird crazy sounds to overdrive to fuzz to anything.

Gotta figure out the controls before I can provide a proper review......but so far, I really dig the tones, and the clean blend works much better than most.

Nice!!! Did you get the deluxe with the starve control and feedback/oscillation switches? The volume knob on my Gnome is super touchy and farging loud. Have fun mang.

I had one of these twice. Great pedals but I had a hard time taming the beast with all the knobs and switches. Got some killer sounds but had a difficult time getting that same sound again.

I love mine but yeah, getting stable sound levels is the nature of the beast.

Spent more time with it......wow.

Now that I understand the controls a little more, I've gotten a lot more useable tones, and been able to match the volumes better.

The biggest thing was turning up both clipping pots full up on the side.
I read that he designed the pedal with the intention of these being full up.
I tried it, but I must have had the diode switches set a certain way, with the gain too high......so I was just getting nasty squealing oscillation (which is cool, but not something I need).

Getting some really cool powerful fuzzy tones now.....

I typically don't care for muffs, but this thing is good. I can dial in everything my EHX muffs were missing.
