Oooooshhh most GAS I've ever had from any pedals of any kind ever...
Overdrive/distortion and sweep eq:-
Compressor (same as in the fantastic TwinQ, one of my favourite channel strips):-
I really want these!
The comp in the twinq is just awesome IME and I am really interested in a distortion/overdrive where you can tune in the amount of odd vs even harmonics, adding a sweep eq to that is just all the icing I could ever want.
PLus they're British Racing Green of course

The comp in the twinq is gorgeous, really really really nice. Exactly what a comp should be, you can punish yourself with phat punch or just ride levels, and its as quiet as a mouse.
If this delivers (and I mean if) it will be the end of my compresor search.
I am indeed gooey with anticipation....

| | | Love to know what the outputs are at the top of the GBQ as well; FX loop I guess?? But there is another jack in there too, could be you can control the drive or somesuch with an expression pedal??
Saw a vid about it, guy went off about the whole any power supply will run this box thing, but never saw it actually running
INteresting that it is now the GBQ not just the guitarQ, bodes well for the frequency response
Just hope they dpnt take the mickey and assume that $199 == £199, cos that is so much cr@p! Especially right now!!!

| | | | This is he only compressor that's ever interested me. Also that distortion looks killer, I must have it. |

| | | | Every piece of JM kit I've ever used has delivered at the price point its been sold at.
From my experience with the new TwinQ from which the comp is taken I have every reason to believe it will be the daddy. Plus it is the only pedal comp I've seen with all the rack comp controls. That may be a big turn off for some, but I love proper compressor controls, and hate not having them, its why I dont have a BBE Optostomp, or a whatever else...
I was looking at a focusrite compounder until I saw this. Now thats a £300+ compressor, and I'd be completely wasting one channel, plus its rack haulage hell too. This is going better meet my needs (I hope)

Half-rack size, great sound and features, and they are pretty inexpensive. |

You ever used one with a mono signal?
Do have a real 'thing' for Meek comps you might have noticed
Did you ever get a chance to try a compounder Bongo? Think you'd dig it big time mate!

It has dedicated balanced inputs for Left and Right channels, it just doesn't mention anything about mono in the manual and the legend on the back panel doesnt say L/Mono & R or anything similar, but I could have easily missed something here

The L/R channels are completely discrete mono channels. They are both controlled by the one set of knobs in front, but plugging a cable into one channel has no impact or relevance to the presence of another channel. They don't pan or blend or anything like that. |

After all the internal sidechains must be linked. Would you need to lower the threshold further perhaps - thought I'd seen something to this effect in other older Joe Meek desktop stereo units...
