The New Mad Professor Snow White Auto Wah

I didn't find any information on this pedal on Talkbass after doing a search so I thought I would start a thread on this new pedal to gather info on it for us Bassist. Im tempted to get one but was hoping to get reviews from a TB'er about it first. Any info?

here's a link with some info on it: http://www.mpamp.com/pedal/pedals-swaw.htm

I listened to some clips of this pedal last night and was blown away at how accurately it cops to wah sound (for guitar anyways)...For Guitar, it may be the best sound...most authentic "wah" sound of any auto wah I've heard...I'd love to hear it with Bass...

But, these guys are REALLY proud of their stuff ($350 for the Snow White)...and everything they make is just too expensive for me to pick up on a whim...and I don't know of any local Dallas music stores that carry them...

I'm not sure how they even stay in business. Who shells out that kind of money for these pedals?

Agreed...it's pricey...but I'd still like to test drive a few of their pedals...Like the Deep Blue delay, the Snow White Auto Wah, and the Tiny Orange Phaser...

You should feel good that the ridiculousness of TGP has not entered your life.

Awesome- I'd love to hear it on bass. It sounds fantastic on the guitar demos.

BJF pedals are really expensive, but they're also unique circuits as opposed to a lot of expensive boutique pedals that are basically clones. The used price of a Blueberry is always touted as pricey, but it's not far from the price of a new one, and it's not bad at all compared to the price that a lot of the less common ones draw from guitar players.

I haven't received it yet... I ordered it at one of the local shops (Bananas At Large in San Rafael) about two weeks ago. It should be arriving by the end of this week or next. I think we need to coin a new term like GAS for the waiting period... AGONY (acquired gear only nothing yet) or something better...

I'll post a review and some clips when I get it.

Well, I finally received my SWAW yesterday afternoon. I was only been able to spend a few minutes with it last night, but I will say this: it only took about 3 seconds of tweaking to get to glorious, slurpee, delicious, funky wah. The cool thing is that it's all about how you attack the string. Anyway, I'll record/post some clips in the next day or two.
