Innnnnnnnnterestinggggggggggg.....

In that thread over at Moog, they found that Moog submitted a trademark application for "cluster flux". The fact that it is 108m sounds like it's midi-syncable. And it looks to have a second stomp switch, too.

If it's a chorus/flanger, I'm going to be right upset. I've been lusting after several different chorus/flanger/modulation pedals over the years: Polly (the Stereo Polychorus), the Fulltone Choralflanges (CF-1 and the to-be-released-two-years-ago CFV-2) and the Strymon Ola and Orbit (two pedals, but two awesome pedals). I cannot justify spending copious amounts of money on something I might not like (not anymore), and Moog has a reputation for being great, but prohibitively expensive, especially if you buy the pedal from the Chicago Music Exchange, like I did.

Good god, man, buy used! I've owned four different moogers and never paid over 2 bills for any of 'em!

Some serious ...., I suppose.

Or, if you're unlucky, some Libyans will shoot you.

I'd love it if it was a Multimode Filter akin to the UAD Moog Filter Plug In -

"AMOUNT" if keeping w tradition.
Given the details, I'm guessing this will be a tremolo / vibrato / LFO modulation w selectable waveforms, tap tempo AND midi...

which basically adds up to holy mother of want for this here panda

got into a debate on another forum about something and I'm curious what you guys think

Should moog consider doing a dedicated dirt pedal, and if they did, would you be interested / possibly buy it?

I realize there are many types of pedals they'd probably make before doing a dedicated distortion. Chorus and Flange immediately come to mind. And I also realize that you can already use the output gain to achieve distortion.

I'm talking about a squarewave / selectable waveshape distortion with white and pink noise options, plus whatever else they think to include.

FWIW, I think people would be on it like flies on stink, but many a dude thought me crazy.
What say you?
