New MXR M80

Hi there,

Seeking for your advice !!!! I have a new MXR M80 bass di.
I am going to use it in a live action. (I dont have an amph.)(I am planning to plug in directly to the mixer)

Which other effect pedals do you advice ??? I thought a EQ and Compressor will be a good solution . If so what s your suggestion ?

By the way I am playing IBANEZ SR 300 (Active) bass guitar

it depends on your style. if you want distortion, use a distortion pedal

or chorus vs..

I regularly gig with a MXR M80 direct into the PA and no amp. You don’t need any other pedals, but it’s just as yeniharman says and use whatever you’d use if you use an amp. The MXR has a perfectly good 3 band EQ so you’ll only need another EQ if you want to change your tone.
