New MXR pedals

Don't know if this has been talked about yet but looks like we are getting some more bass love from MXR.

Nice one! Those guys make some solid pedals.
I can't read the controls on the Bass Chorus, but I'd like to think it will sound sweet.

Sweet, I figured they'd be doing an OD next, and a chorus is nice too.

Does anyone know what the black one is beneath the chorus?

Edit: it's the bass envelope filter.

I wonder if there OD is based on the Modified OD they make for guitar which actually sounds very good on bass and doesn't lose low end. Color me curious.

I like what MXR has been doing for bass the past few years. Now, looks like you could put an entire board together with their perfectly sized pedals. Not that I'd start over again, but for the uninitiated....

I would like to hear their OD. The compressor has come on really strong and I see a lot of pedal boards here with it on it. For the price it seems almost too good to be true. Its definitely on my wish list.

Same set of tone controls as their Bass Fuzz Deluxe, which I have and use all the time. Nice to see the clean blend on there. I also wonder how it compares to the Pork Loin, if at all. I could very much see myself picking one of these up. Might just be tempted to hit the Chorus too!

+ 1

Great company. One of those (too few) companies who actually treat their clients with respect. Fan forever.

I just played the overdrive and the bass chorus. the overdrive is based on the pork loin, but slightly modified... it sounds fantastic!! you guys are going to die when you hear the bass chorus. it has bass and treble controls, a switchable crossover, and switchable Flanger function. it is a much richer chorus than the analog chorus

****. Flanger option included...

Can you rate it against the MXR Stereo Chorus ?

I see.

Any comment on the Flanger? I love the sound of the BF-2. If it is similar at all to that, it looks like it is time to get rid of the MXR Analog Chorus.
