I have an mxr bass di and the eq is something else! It's really great as for distortion the blend knob is key to finding the sweet spot for you, I tend to have a lot more dry and then just add gain which retains the mids better for me!

Good to know... as much as I wanna pickup a Fuzz Deluxe, I'm leaning on the idea of just waiting it out til the Bass Overdrive hits the streets.

Do you not remember how long it took them to get the bass comp out?

To be fair, the circuitry of the bass comp is a good deal more complicated than an overdrive. Especially since that overdrive is based on the Pork Loin, a pedal they already have in production.

I'd be surprised if there were a lot of delays associated with it. And the bass chorus seems pretty much done and just waiting for production to ramp up on it.

And that was why.
They've been spot on on pretty much everything else. Hell, they sold out of the limited edition Way Huge delay before I even knew it was released.

For that kind of price, one would hope!

Seriously, though. The envelope filter and the octave deluxe are going on Amazon for like $120. I wonder what the MSRP was on those?

Probably around the same. Street price and MSRP are never the same, i imagine the new ones will cost the same as the old ones.

is that pic an official MXR advertisement or a GuitarWorld editorial thing? what the hell is that chick doing with those 2 effect-pedals on the beach?! major creative fail if you ask me: i just keep starring at the (.) (.) ... not at the fx-pedals ;-)

the chorus deluxe is not really interesting for me (at the monmet), BUT i´m really excited about the new overdrive ... i already own 3 bass specific MXR pedals and this company does a great job. whats up with EHX and Boss?!?!?! they don´t show too much or no love to us bass players i think.

GuitarWorld actually made a mistake and had the prices switched (the correct prices ... $298.68 Chorus / $219.99 Overdrive) The street prices will be $169.99 for the bass chorus dlx and $129.99 for the bass overdrive
