I don't use batteries, but if I was going to use a battery clip that has to be the one to use!

Chandler Limited | Welcome -

they make amazing pro audio gear. totally top notch! I have their TG-2 mic pre and it sounds absolutely killer - colored to an amazing degree. I also had their germ eq's for a while and they were simply stunning . . .

I've been wanting to try their compressors for years now, but haven't put the money together for it.

They have multiple pro audio racks modeled after the Abbey Road Studio channels. Chandler actually designed some of the stuff, then sold his own versions for home/studio use.

Wade announced Germanium will be around $250 and Lil Devil $200, and some final redesigns. They should be out in 'bout two months.
I think it's pretty safe bet that bass players will love these, even more so than guitaroids.

A TG-1 or a Zenner . . . what I wouldn't do!

Their TG-1 compressor is very cool - probably my favorite compressor for drum overheads. I'm not that eager to buy one for myself at the price they're asking though...

Wade Goeke announced on Gearslutz today that these are now shipping: Chandler Germ and Devil pedals shipping! - Gearslutz.com

As was mentioned earlier, these should be *killer* if they're anything like Chandler's recording gear.

These are available at frontendaudio and sweetwater. The price tag slightly danpened my enthusiasm. Sure to be killer pedals. Gonna pull the trigger in the germ ...eventually

Some cats were using Chandler's Germanium rack pre as the front end for the powered Berg cabs a few years back with good results.

Damn, I'd love to try one of these.

I bet that's amazing...the DI on my tg-2 is all sorts of gooey goodness!

My buddy is a pro audio guy (tours with bands, has worked at Blackbird studios) and he told me to check these out. He says the rackmount stuff is killer for bass.

No doubt. These pedals are going to be very useful for those of us who can't afford to drop $2500 on the rack mount stuff.

Up until now I would never consider a pedal anywhere near the rumored price, but given the fact that Chandler has never built a piece of gear that was anything less than amazing this is intriguing.
