Probably amplified (no pun intended) by the fact that I'm running it at 18V.
Interested in hearing samples.

I think I have volume knobs and EQs that already do this.
I liked the PPB fuzz (a lot) but this seems expensive to me. I suppose if it's exactly the sound you want in a little box then it's not expensive, but if everybody wants exactly this sound then I think I'm a bit disappointed with... everybody. |

I think I have volume knobs and EQs that already do this. | Well for me, playing an all tube non master volume amp with only a two stage preamp and only passive guitars (which is my ideal setup), a switchable boost is very handy for kicking the amp into a bit of dirt footswitchably. I don't want it on all the time in all situations, I spend a lot of time playing like this: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page...songID=9359551
It's also handy to have a boost footswitchable to kick on to make choruses bigger for a composition that has choruses (which some of us play) or for solos (some of us play those too).
I'm sure you've got your fair share of pedals that I'd be disappointed that anyone owns/would find completely useless or just utterly horrible, but I don't (usually) post in threads about those pedals. But I'm glad that someone has finally come out with a bass boost with features that appeal to me at my price point. Yeah I could go for a Mole or an HBE Bass Booster for less, but the features on those pedals don't appeal. |

'course we wanna hear your opinions KevTheTop. i'm actually with you a little bit. i LOVE the color of this, but am waiting on a (super late) VT Deluxe for my board so i don't know if it's for me. but a lot of people like to have a booster to add a bit of dirt or eq up a different sound in a small pedal. and this looks like a very neat iteration of that idea. and the smaller range, more dial-in-able gain? SMART.
now, if Matt wants to take my VT Deluxe and give it this paint job when it gets here.... DELICIOUS.
i'm trying to figure out a way to justify this just 'cause it's so darn PRETTY. |

Silly me. | Duly noted! I shall now proceed to go into every synth nerd thread and blast about how synth bass is 80's only and the 80's are dead so you're all just cheesers! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
