I know there are others out there... I use a Bass BB, but I have the feeling that if Matt put his mind to it, he could come up with something special.

I'm excited about this pedal too. |

I love my Phat Phuk B beyond words, really puts a smile on my face ....and Matt at W&C is a good guy. I also had a PPB and believe me these pedals are top notch in build quality and parts.
What I really want to ask Matt is if this can come with the same blend feature as the PPB and Tri Pie...that alone might edge it over the SUF Green Russian or Civil War.....which really don't get enough love around here imho.

Thx. Yes, blend is available and free for tall font pre-orders and the Tri as a promo. Same blend as PPieB. Quote:

Something in the Phat Phuk tone zone, but with some control over volume and gain and maybe some EQ. | Focusing on the Phat Phuk as far as non-fuzzy stuff goes for now. Set out to try to put a new spin on something as simple as a boost. A tough task. But I'm really proud of this thing and I'm not afraid to be honest and say, it feels really good to get all the compliments. A little validation goes a long way! No OD in the works for now.
The Tri and Rush are putting big smiles on my face now (and the pickle B is still kicking doors down). These will be the last muffs for us. Like many here I just love the damn things. I have spent way too many hours hammering out the nuances of this circuit. If any of you read the Outliers book, I did the math the other day and realized that I'm just over my 10,000 hours. Kinda freaky...

Sweeping through tone settings just make it harder to be happy with a good thing.
I've never tried one of the pedals in person but the more clips I listen to, the more I agonize over wanting one. |

the control on the top of the phat phuk b IS a volume, there is no tone control on the pedal |

Originally Posted by Flymo Wang the control on the top of the phat phuk b IS a volume, there is no tone control on the pedal | Yeah, but I want to drive the pedal to get it's character without boosting the signal. I was looking for a post-volume knob. Then it can be a mild OD pedal or still a booster with character. Kind of like Boss BD-2 for guitar except without a tone control in the way. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
