There is no distortion there is only an old amp cranked with knackered speakers.

Thank you for your time and don't let the search nazi's catch you

Here's a response Geezer made to someone asking about his equipment:

Hello Steve, on the first two albums I used a P-bass. On the first album i used a Laney 70 watt guitar amp through a Park 4x12 cabinet [it only had three speakers in it- couldn't afford to buy a 4th speaker]. Strings were probably old Rotosound, as I think that was the only choice in those days. They were roundwound but were so old they probably sounded like flatwounds. I'm not sure what amplification I used on Paranoid, but it was probably Laney, and newer Rotosounds. Thank you for your interest, Geezer.

Of course he didn't include the pedals in the description. My guess is he borrowed the stuff from Iommi.

If you're not aware, this is Les Claypool of Primus, not Geezer Butler. Les has a much more complicated setup than Geezer.

No way you can possibly tell those 2 players apart they are an embodiment of each others playing style

Tycobrahe wah pedal I believe, along with (as Tayste pointed out) shagged speakers turned up to 11. Try a 105Q wah or Ibanez Weeping Demon for the wah, for the old school sound, try a VT Bass or try kicking your speakers in whilst wearing pointy shoes. I recommend these:
