I ran biamped back then because of the BF-2 & CE-2.
Or maybe our definition of low end differs |

The BF-3 sounds great but I can't get pass the fact that it's digial. I don't like anything digital in my system - just a personal thing.

The same settings the sound way different no mater where they are dialed to. The BF-2 has a much more 3D tone and the BF-2B is more of an icing on the cake sound. I am really digging them both for what each can do so I am keeping them. I have 2 Japanese CE-2s that sound great but gonna keep them on the guitar rig and I have an analog CE-5 coming soon for the bass rig.

I have acquired a BF-2 Japanese black label (an early BF-2) and I am about to do a shoot out against my Indonesian BF-2. The should sound the same, but who knows?

I've heard how this pedal sounds on bass and I think it sounds phenomenal. sure, many people favor the boss bf-2 mainly because of it's analog circuitry and the fact that it's got a much warmer sound, but I do like who sweet and lushful the boss bf-3 sounded. it's really a great flanger pedal.
