Nice - putting the buffer on/off is a nice feature.
But I really like the idea of cutting the signal too, means I could put it anywhere on the board within reason.
I'm intrigued by the nature of the circuit described by NOC3, reminds me of the ClinchFX EP-Pre pedal. http://www.clinchfx.com/ep-pre
OK;
after emailing both Tonefactor and Proguitarshop, I received an email back from both, regarding this pedals suitability for bass.
Quote (more or less the response from both emails) "The pedal is very transparent. I have no idea how it will sound with a
bass though."
Which is fair - they're primarily guitar places. Just say D'oh!
i am searching for a clean boost as well. i tried the Cusack More Louder at my friend's shop and it works well with basses, active or passive. but its too expensive! $199. plus shipping is too much for a clean boost for me.
i PM'ed Tayste about the Catalinbread Serrano Picoso and i had a great comments from him about this little pedal. i guess i will take that one.
