Noise level & chorus qual. on multi-effects

Sign in to disble this ad
I've got a Markbass Compressore, Mutron III+ and a tuner and am looking at getting a chorus to round out my pedals (EBS or Boss).

For only double the price of the EBS chorus I could get an M9 (says it has an analog chorus) plus would get all the other goodies. I also have (for guitar practice) a Pandora PX4 and in the past a couple other older multis. All of these seem to be pretty noisy TBH. Are the newer multis much quieter and good for recording etc.? Do the modulators in these stand up against the current chorus pedals?

I think I would always use the Compressore as the compressor in multis always feels like an afterthought.

Thanks,
Mike.
