i've got the line 6 space chorus but i've had to take it out of my board because it causes such a load noise even when it isn't turned on. its like a constant buzz that buzz in time with the flashing light on the tap tempo, is there anything i can doto fix this?

If every device in the chain uses the same grounding scheme then you usually won't hear that noise. However it can pop up when one of the devices has reverse power polarity, or when there is a flaw like a solder bridge connecting parts of the circuitboard that shouldn't be touching.
First thing to try is isolating the pedal from other pedals and see if it has that noise by itself. If it does, then it probably needs repair. I'm betting it's all SMT micro components, so good luck with that. |

You basically have to hope that something on the board is visibly wrong. |

bass --> that one pedal --> amp (no other pedals or other powered devices in the chain at all)
See if you hear the noise then. |

How are you powering it? And what else shares that power supply?

Line 6 products use some different power regulations for their pedals. It's highly suggested by the company that you use their proprietary power supplies with their products to not run into problems like noise (as extremely evidenced with any and all tonecore pedals.) A friend of mine has a DL-4 and it's a finicky beast. Won't work with anything other than the Line 6 power supply without making a ton of noise. |
