Noisy Sadowsky Preamp D.I?

Sign in to disble this ad
As per topic.
Anyone experience this?
Sometimes when I lightly step on the On/Off it just outputs noise.
And when I up the treble/bass to about the 2 O'clock position the noise comes as well. Is there something wrong with the preamp?
Fishman's customer service isn't all that helpful...

Have you checked your entire line and your bass?

I would take it back to the shop, if you can and compare to other ones they have.

Otherwise, I think dropping a line to Mr. Sadowsky may be more helpful.

Yeah I actually have.
Here's what I've done already:
- Swap a fresh battery.
- Change cables.
- Tried using XLR.

Couldn't be the bass. When I plug it in straight to the amp there's no noise.

It only happens when I stomp on the ON/OFF lightly or it comes and goes randomly.

I'll try dropping a email to Roger...lets see what he says.
