I have the opportunity to buy a boss equalizer pedal. Now I have no idea how to use it so can someone tell me which one is low mid high and so on.

Is it the bass eq pedal? If so, the 50 and 120 are low, the 400, 500, and 800 are mid, and the 4.5k and 10k are high.
Ultimately, though, just use your ears to find what works. |

Pedals are a great bunch of toys, but if you don't have a good bass, AND a good amp, you're wasting your money.
