Not sure if i possibly just killed my fav pedal...

i just realized that i had an 18 volt adapter plugged into my MXR Blue Box....it worked just fine, but i dont know whether its ok to keep running it at that level or not....any ideas?

i just tried the Blue Box with a 9 volt adapter. it sounds fairly lame. im sticking with the 18 volt unless someone can prove that the 18 volt is killing it.

The flip flop (octave) chip is rated for 15 volts. Everything else is rated for 18 or better, assuming I'm remember the schematic correctly.

The LED circuit is designed for 9, so make sure it isn't getting hot.

Also, I have no way of knowing what the caps are rated for, but they're probably 50 volts, except for electrolytics-- which are often 16.
