Nova Delay users, a little help!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

I just got a nova delay and power it up with a 12V power supply. I don't know if any of you encountered this problem before. My nova delay seems to suck majority of my volume out, giving me a really weak output. Even when the pedal isn't engaged.

I tried everything. I've checked the input levels, my bass, changed cables, ran just the pedal to the amp. Ran through the whole manual, setting everything to noon.

I'm stumped

HELP

Have you calibrated it yet? The A/D converter needs to be calibrated or you'll experience issues with the tone--- I haven't looked into, but I remember reading a few threads in other places about similar issues to what you're describing. Check out the manual.

Yea its been calibrated. I've been through the whole manual. It's weird. It just seems to suck more than half the volume out. I emailed tc electronics about it, awaiting their reply. Was hoping some of you guys experienced this, figuring it out.

My Moog Phaser just died on me yesterday- when engaged nothing passes through, and when bypassed it cuts about 50% volume and sounds like a distorted preamp (not in a good way)... I've had mine for a while so Im not super bummed about a new pedal I've never even been able to try... but I know mine needs repair, so I can feel your pain.

Good luck with it, hopefully its something simple and you don't have to send it in! Where did you get it? Can you send it back?

Yea, it sucks. I'm not sure, if it could be a quick fix of the jacks. Can't return the pedal. Cmonnn TC!!!
