What's your plan with the multiple Freezes?

i have two possible plans.
1) because i run two discreet signal chains to two different amps, i will put a Freeze in each chain, maximizing my coldness.
2) place one at the beginnning and the other at the end of one chain for flexibility.

so far, using them on discreet signal chains is working brilliantly. i can already see myself using them in this manner permanently. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.

As for #2, what benefit do you see for having it at the beginning of the chain (mine is there FWIW)? When it's at the end, you have the option of playing into it clean for clean drone and clean overplaying, affected drone and affected overplaying, or affected drone with clean overplaying. The third one isn't available when it's at the beginning of the chain. Of course, you could use the second Freeze to drone off of the first Freeze's drone for fun madness....

it would be for sound design droney thingys. basically i would have the one at the end there for drones to play over, and the other to create a drone then mess it up with pedals.

having messed with all three pedals, i can say that the Freeze is EPIC AND A HALF. note the extra half and the Billy Mays Mode. LOVE LOVE LOVE. the MXR is very cool as well. i will definitely pick up the BOD to go with it and have myself another on the go synth rig. all in all, today has been a good day for me and pedals.

So I read the title, and guessed the pedals exactly (well, not TWO Freezes, but Freeze and M82!)

I have a similar thing going on with a Boss DF-2, using the oscillation in that to feed to the rest of my board. It's well worth a try if one has a freeze or similar droney pedal...
