nyc pedalboards with cheap pedals??

i am confused. nycpedalboards.com lets you choose 3 pedals for about %20 of the normal cost with the purchase of ANY pedalboard. whats with this? seems too good to be true.

on that form you will see the drop downs for "pedal platform" 1,2 and 3. cheap pedals!

I get it now. They are not selling pedals, they are selling pieces of wood cut to the size of those pedals, to raise them up off the "main floor" for easier stomping. It's just a piece of wood with carpeting on it, a "riser".

I believe its also for ease of velcroing/placing pedals like a dunlop wah on the board to. IIRC I saw a pic one time of the dunlop riser, and it has 4 holes in it for the feet on the wah.
