Observation about the (x)Pod stuff.

I do not own one of these. I have not read the manual for them. However my guitar player has one and i have used it to tune in our little bonus room studio. One thing that i noticed are the brackets that pop up on the tuner when you are close to in tune but not exactly there. What are they for? The only thing that I can deduce is that they are the "Close enough for Rock 'n Roll" indicators.
