octave multiplexer-esque fuzz?

Sign in to disble this ad
im looking to upgrade my ehx octave multiplexer to the new micro pog, and i was wondering if there is a good pedal out there that can replicate the dirty, square-wave-esque fuzz the the multiplexer makes with the sub octave on? would a big muff or metal muff effectively do the job?

Personally, I like the Multiplexer better than the POG, but I think the Muff would work fine if you want dirt. It will be different though, the Multiplexer is kinda unique in that reguard.

I wouldn't consider the POG an upgrade. It may be more expensive but that doesn't make it better.
The Multiplexer is an awesome unit, it's alive and so versatile I wouldn't consider replacing it with anything else.

Beat me to it. I have an OM, but I'd love to have both. Completely different sounds.

+1

And I don't think you're going to find a convenient replacement for that OM sound... you might as well keep both!
