i was wondering in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK1tQz9Lr7w if he is using an octaver. it starts at 0:56. sounds like the bass drops out a bit lower at the time

| | | yeah i was looking at the oc-2. i think i'm diggin that sound more everytime i hear one. i think pino palladino is the cause of this  ..i really dig the tone in the clip though. is he using something with the octaver to make it sound heavy. |

| | | | okay so i just recieved the oc-2 i won off of ebay. it is the older ACA version. is the only difference the between the two versions the type of adapter it uses? they both can still run off a regular 9v battery right? |

The ACA is 12VDC unregulated, again IIRC. If you have a voodoo lab PP2, or something simillar, you should be able to power it without the battery |
