Octron vs. OC-2?

Sign in to disble this ad
How does the octave down tone of the Foxrox Octron compare to that of the Oc-2? I'm looking for the synthy tone of the Oc-2 but like the extra features of the Octron (improved tracking, octave up, and true bypass).

I can't speak to a comparison with the OC-2, but I have the Octron and think it's great. Being able to vary the mix of down octave, up octave and straight signal, combined with use of chorus and envelope filter gives all sorts of mega-synth-y goodness. The ability to vary the amount of drive on that up octave (internal pot) gives even more flexibility.

Hope this helps.

This question is interesting. I wonder also how does Octron compare to Micro POG?
