Sign in to disble this ad
Sorry if this has been covered, I did a search but couldnt find what i was looking for... But does any body know of any fuzz/od/distortion pedals with a blend control aside from the sparkle drive and the bass big muff... Im wanting to trade my current od for one with a blend and I just wanted to make sure that there werent any that I had missed...

MXR Blowtorch for one. Or you could just buy any pedal and use a basic cheap blender with it.

I could get a loop pedal of some sort (just thought about that right before you posted it actually) or add a blend circuit to the one I have, but I dont want to modify the one I have and I am trying to keep my board as small as possible...
Thanks..

The sansamp BDDI has a blend, As does the Boss ODB-3 IIRC. Big Muff's DON'T. The new LOMENZO pedal from ASHDOWN is s'posed to be good & had blend AFAIK. also

Do what I did to save space, stack pedals. I put a tiny booster I built on top of my DC Brick. Rose it about the front row, and took up no more room. But put a tiny blend loop on top of whatever you're powering your board with.

Wren and Cuff Pickle Pie B. The blend is very natural, with the clean and fuzz blending together, instead of the fuzz just sitting on top of the clean signal.

MXR M-80. It has low, mid, high tone controls and a noise gate, as well, and it serves as a direct box. I like mine a lot; a bit more than the SansAmp I just bought, actually. The MXR doesn't color the tone much, unless you want it to.
