They were released in the US this week. Mine just arrived. Looks pretty sweet.

Thought we'd have an area where people could post any issues, hints, questions about it.

Manual is at RC-3 :: Owner's Manual :: Roland

I don't own one but I have the RC-20xl.
Since the new versions have new features I'd like to know more about them so I can decide if I buy one or not.

It works fine as a looper, my biggest problem with it is the fact that rythyms can only be programmed in at either 4/4 or 3/4. Too bad if you wanted to write something in 7/8.

Yeah I got mine as well a couple of weeks back... awesome looper, though I'm still trying to figure out if I can import drum beats as wav files into the drum machine... anyone got any clue on that one?
BTW kenstee I'll be joining you in the short scale VI bass club real soon... Just ordered a Schecter Ultra VI

Yes, you can do that import via USB. That's one of the new features of the RC-3. Just follow the easy instructions in the manual (pages 14 and 15)- different procedures for Mac or Windows. It does work.

Congrats on the Ultra VI. Also, join us in the Facebook groups if you aren't already a member - Schecter Hellcat VI and Ultra VI Users and also the Bass VI Users groups. And...please let us know your impressions of the Ultra VI once you get it in your hands.
