And done. Been holding off on adding the Moller because I don't use OD tones very often, but for $.99, I can't say no.

It you sett the gain on max, blend on 0% you still get a bit more character to the tone. Specially if you press the Voice knob.
I'e ALL addons for Amlitube iOS.... I guess I'm slightly crazy! |

I'm "mostly in." |

The inspiration came from if you remember my test of the Oxford in front of the PBDDI.
I bet the Oxford in front of the B15R will sound great in band mix, even though the guitar player might find this tone "intrusive"!! |

It'll also give me a chance to put the Moller to the test through the PA. Most of my playing is upstairs in the living room, wearing UE TripleFi 10 earbuds. They sound killer, but not the same as four 15"'s an a powered 18" sub!! |

One track with b15 and one with Oxford without amp or fx and play both tracks together and mix to taste.

It's the B15R on one track and the Soldano on the other! |

Any time I record a rhythm guitar part, I always play it twice through two different amp sims, and pan hard left and right. Especially with acoustics or really heavy parts, it work really well.
I've never doubled a bass part in the studio, but I have comped together parts many times. A lot of my recording is done by recording things verse by verse, sometimes even line by line. Lots of punchins.
I think the most I've ever done on one song was 48 guitar parts, but that was just being silly. |

Having a stompbox in front of the Amplitube is not a real problem. At least as long as AT/ IK multimedia do not offer us more gear we/ I might "need" to combine AT with hardware gear. As long as the gear can run or should run in front of an amp it should work. |

Zoom is about to come out with the MS-50b, a stomp box sized multi-fx with a USB interface built-in, and a price of $99!!
Gonna be watching this one. |

Not that the way you had it set up in that track with the oxford i was not saying the sound wouldn't work live. Just running two fx tracks in AT mixed live.

I can my pedals in front of Amplitube iOS, so the signal from the Sansamp PBDDI which is the last in the chain of the pedals is connected to Amplitube iOS by the iRig. Thereafter the signal is going into my mini mixer and into the poser section of my Ibanez combo (or the PA when I'm out):

Using my laptop, I built a drum loop in ACID. Then with the proper cables and adapters, I imported the loop into Amplitube (on track 4).
Now I begin to layer. I'm gonna see what this thing can do, and record a full song. Hopefully with vocals.
I'll post when finished. |

Now that I have purchased the 8 track portion on the iPad AT and a long weekend coming. To see how it would go on the iPad. I have, of course done this on the Mac but not in AT iOS. I can't wait to hear how RIP's turns out. .......giddy up.

My drum tracks bled into all my other tracks. I'm gonna try again with an all acoustic song and see how it goes. Drums will have to wait till I've got a better interface. |
