Does anyone else have reversed functions on the b15R in Amplitube for iPad?
My ultr hi and lo switches are actually opposite of what is labeled and the on/off switch is backwards too.
I have to turn on he ultra hi to get a low boost and I have to turn the amp off in order to get the processed signal.
Not the case on my 4s.

Great to hear somebody else then me that like Roine Stolt, or even knows who he is!

Mine are reversed too. The high low boost buttons are reversed and the on/off switch is reversed

Ok folks. After a long night where I went to bed @ 2:30 shielding (1st time) and rewiring (parallel/series mod, CTS 250k, Switchcraft and Orange drop cap) my SX 6, I celebrated my son's 20th birthday!
Later in the evening, I checked online deals to see if anyone had a discount on the Jam.... but didn't find anything. So I bit the bullet, and with my share of our Christmas savings I went out to my local GC and got the Jam a couple of hours ago.
While my family watched TV I plugged it in and gave it a try with my CV60J. After all of those hours with those 10lbs over my shoulders (SX6) my back is killing me! The headphone jack of my iPhone can drive my headphones, but it's difficult for me to hear it well. I'll see if I get that $20 Behringer headphone amp I told you guys about before, and connect that to my amp so I can hear it better instead.
However, for quick silent practice this is a much better solution.
I'll try adding a track or something to play to on the recorder, at least something longer than a few bars.

I'm being forced to wait the extra month for tax time to get my interface, but in definitely sold on the Jam. Hopefully they work out some Windows drivers for it by then.

Doesn't windows have drivers for the jam? I have not trie it with my windows laptop!
Strange!
If you must use it with Windows, then you should find an other interface. But regarding using with iOS device, it is (I think) the best deal regarding the price. Other interfaces like the iTrack looks more complete, but then again cost more and are not as mobile. The Apogee Jam is about what the iRig should have been!!
Yeah, my buttons are all fine on the 4S. Not reversed.
I don't think it'll be Paige. Maybe Muse. I'm betting it'll be a current player.
Isn't Muse more popular then Paige (right now)?
I could not care too much for any of them. I like to listen to guitar, but I can't play guitar... and have no idea about how to get any type of sound out of it!

The hiss is gone!! and the tone is great. Nice clarity!
I'm happy to "hear" that!
I couldn't spot any noise when I recorded it and after I uploaded it to SoundCloud, and neither could my son, so that was a big plus.
The Jam is definitely an improvement. I'm liking it.
Next I'm going to try iPhone headphone to (Behringer) mixer (which I have) to headphones and to amp. My son has a Behringer keyboard amp which is very transparent; that might help me track better while I record.
I wished I had an iPad as the larger screen area would be a big plus. But right now I agree that the Jam is what the iRig should have been all along. The iRig and iRig stomp were not good designs, IMO. Or I'll just share my part of the blame and say it was user-error, but I just couldn't get the iRig to work for me. The Jam will work.
Here's another very popular guitarist that sooooooo many guitarists try to sound like.........the edge.
Having another guitar hero package doesn't hurt me as much as only having one bass amp added.....and I didn't say this before but it's something I noticed as soon as I purchased the b15r........ Not one preset sent from IK.....why? The only preset they have given the entire time the app has been released is "clean bass".... It should be called "quiet and in the background as much as possible bass".

Yeah, they definitely don't see the true potential of their own gear.
But that's ok. I can make my own presets, and they're NOT "quiet and in the background as much as possible bass".
The Edge use an AC30 Top Boost among others.
Talking about guitar heroes, if IK multimedia come with an other guitar pack I really hope it is one of the 70 amps which is also usable with bass. Fender Dual showman, Marshall Super bass.... Btw it's Murder One is a Marshall Super Bass?
While we wait for IK to offer something new, I decided to check out what's new in Jamup since the "bug fix" update the other day.
I was completely blown away! Whatever "bug" they fixed made this thing sound like a new app!! Up till now, Jamup was the app I kept on my phone because I spent $3 for their BDDI, ended up disappointed, but couldn't bring myself to throw it away.
The BDDI now sounds just like a real one!! And as a bonus, any noise added when boosting the gain can be removed with the noise filter pedal, without completely wrecking your tone. In fact, it's so transparent that aside from the missing noise , you can't even tell its running.
Totally psyched with the new awesome sound quality, I put up another $3 for the Mu-Tron pedal, and what do you know, it's amazing, too!! Totally funky, and useful as an autowah, unlike the envelope filter in Amplitube.

Someone did their homework at Positive Grid.
It seems like positive grid have been following our threads.... I went through the bass pack as I've mentioned earlier just after I've seen that there was anew update. Minor bug fixes, well I was curious anyway.... Wow, if this was minor bug fixes, what will happened when they do something major?? I'm happy Rip that you gave the Jamup a new run, as I was not sure if it was the Apogee which suddenly gave such a boost in tone (which could not be the case) and character.

The Apogee may be responsible for the signal being more pristine, but the app itself changed dramatically. No joke. It's not even the same app anymore. Jamup used to be the "toy" of the group. The pedals look goofy to me, and the sound was HORRID.
Things change, and IK better step up or they're gonna get left behind.
Since Positive Grid seem to be listening, if they get on board and upgrade the recorder, Amplitube is in some serious trouble.
It seams that they are already in serious trouble.
Rip,
Did you try it with your PA or just headphones let me know. I haven't invested anything into positive grid... I have ampkit, AT, and GK. tell me how live friendly it is.
