Anywho...
I just got some new strings on order to arrive as a Christmas present to myself (more ghs bass boomers 5 string set) and some shure in ears se215's. Can't wait. I can finally stop wearing the large, honking behringer headphones I usually wear on stage with the avioms......

What I mean by that is that for MONTHS I had Jamup on my phone but didn't use it. It sounded bad, but I didn't delete it because I bought the BDDI and couldn't bring myself to delete it.
Then they have us the update that brought Jamup up to speed. Now Amplitube is the app that sits on my phone, and I can't delete it because I've got so much invested. Crap.
Just because I don't delete it doesn't mean I support IK in any way, they've lost me. Of course, I'll still pay attention for updates cuz that's what we do, but AT is now gonna be collecting dust on my phone.
What gets me is that IK hasn't bothered to really join in on this conversation. Yeah, you could say the same for Jamup, but they've been in contact in other ways, and really support us bassists. | If you delete the app from your iPhone you will normally manage to get all your purchased stuff by either "buying" it again, but you will not be charged. I've done it several times on AT. Other apps have "retrieve" purchased inn app stuff. So, usually one can delete an app from the iOS device without losing anything one paid for. The reason behind this is that if due to the need of re-installing stuff due to one or other technical issue. I had issues on my old iPod gen 2.....
Positive Grid also follow us in our soundcloud group and I've contact with both Derek and Calvin. Derek answer really fast on e mails. |

The SE215 are great for playing bass (the bass is more dominant on these) actually better then the SE425 which are better for critical listening. |

As for me losing my in app purchases on Jamup, I really don't care. I don't mind paying the ten bucks for the bass pack. I'm still running the free version of the app!

What about the Redhead on the neck pup and maybe the JCM 800 plus the BDDI on the bridge if I use only Jamup. Or the redhead on the neck pup and the Fergan Super Collider from Ampkit on the bridge. There is life after AT. |

I just A/B'd the BDDI against the B15R heavily driven and clean, and I do need something else for clean sounds, but the BDDI is just so good for grindey sounds.
I can't wait to put it in front of the Redhead. I'm betting that will end up being "my sound."
Now I just gotta wait for tax time to upgrade my interface to the Jam, and my setup is complete! |

So, far, that has been enough for my needs. However, lately I've started feeling a need for some effects in my signal chain during gigs. I've experimented with using the iPod Touch in a simulated stage setup. Sound-wise, it's OK. The real problem I have is keeping the iPod Touch within reach, and managing the cabling from instrument, to iPod adapter, to iPod Touch, to the PF-350 (obligatory Porta-Flex content). I'd like to keep the iPod Touch close by. I'd like to attach it to my arm, or instrument. Suggestion welcome.

Aural up to 10, gain up to 8.0 and .......butter
