I was texting her, explaining that the dog was sick. Somewhere in the conversation, she repeated the line that the dog was sick, and "sick" got spell corrected to "dick". In the context it ended up in the sentence it was hilarious. Can't post it here though, the conversation went downhill too fast and is not family friendly. |

I saw a picture of your dog in the Audiobus forum.

I saw a picture of your dog in the Audiobus forum. | Yeah, that's Sonny. He has been my best friend since early last year, when we brought him home as a pup. That dog has been by my side through all this goofiness with my back injury, and has actually saved my life by being there. The depression caused by being stuck flat on my back for so many months left me in a really bad place, and Sonny has always been there, lifting my mood when needed, and bringing me things when I ask. |

I had one dog named Nora, she was not much bigger then Sonny, actually looked very much like him! |

| What happened to Sonny is the price you pay for being friendly...

I'm working on figuring out my final signal chain, and the one thing I'm missing is a quality DI for the final link to the PA.
What's everyone using? Are you going bass -> iOS device -> PA/Monitoring device, or are you adding a DI box to the end of the chain to match all the levels? |

That was when I didn't use IEM. Today I might use a mini mixer to control levels into the main mixer and my IEM. I send only my bass signal to IEM.
But with the iTrack I would be able to hear myself directly from the headphone out and send the rest to the main mixer through the line out.

If I wanted I could also just plug my headphone directly to the back of the art for just me (what I'm sending before it goes DI) or the iPad headphone out.

Which DI do you use ? |

My personal DI I bought long ago is a Horizon-SL-1-Straightline-Passive Direct Box that i dont even know where it is right now come to think of it. My brother has probably taken it over and is a part of the "studio" right now but.... the one i use all the time that the church provided is an...
ART Z direct http://www.zzounds.com/item--ARTZDIRECT $25
it's the passive box its actually better than mine in the sense that there are a few extras like a 0db and -20db selector switch
a 30Hz and below cut filter switch and a phase switch, added to the usual just a ground lift on mine.
