They kind of hoped we will relax after they gave us the B15R, but Positive Grid show a spirit from an other dimension.

Not a bad release its just......

like......

Wow how long did you guys have to work on something that was already there in AT Mac/PC for a looooooong time already.
Did it take that long to port them down to iOS .... I don't think so.
I am gonna check it it but ........ Where's the bass gear?

I'm not buying it. The stuff I've got in Amplitube is where I stop. My money is going into pimping out Jamup with the extra bass amps and some pedals.
IK isn't getting any more of my cash.

Nope. I'll have pedals in Jamup that'll give me those tones.

Unless Jimi is gonna pop outta the Amplitube app and play for me, his signal chain wasn't that extreme.

Edit: the update causes the app to crash continually. Nice job, IK.

These are all very valid arguments, but as far as IK Multimedia is concerned the question remains...
"Are you experienced?"

my latest post on ik forum before it also gets deleted on the "shady" thread.
wow....audiobus is received very well from what i have seen it receives a 5 star rating from every reveiwer. i havent seen any 4 star or below. the only bad things i have heard is from people that has a device with a processor that isnt up to par....like on the older iPhones like 4 and below or iPad 1. and that isnt audiobus's fault and the user knows that... they just want to upgrade their device after trying to use it. because Audiobus may be the biggest thing to hit the IOS devices since the beginning it totally opens up the world of possibilities for music production when there were so many doors shut to really do what you want with your creativity. i would love to see AT support audiobus. That way i can record my favorite guitar tones from AT and use it in a huge variety of ways. it allows for many programs like AT to be used as a type of Plug-in for many DAW type programs and loopers and such.

+1 on calling the copy/paste a "debocle" because it hasnt worked for me any time i have tried to use it to paste anything in to AT or copy from AT to anything else. Im sorry for saying this because i too want to use AT to its full potential. I think adding more bass gear and audiobus would be the right direction for IK and AmpliTube to take.

I think that is very good feedback and can't think why it would not be well received.

I want to be able to record well so badly that I am considering the following options for Q1 next year:

1) A new laptop and audio interface. I'd like to go Apple but they are more expensive. OTOH, I may save by buying once and not have problems with Windows drivers, etc, etc. If I go Windows, I need to research what type of bus (USB 2.0, Firewire, etc) and what audio interface. I currently have Focusrite 6 USB, but the laptop I have can't cut it; there are plenty of problems. Whatever I do I want a good set of monitor speakers so I can better hear what is actually being recorded.
2) An iPad 2 (is that the dual core?). I can just upgrade my phone to a i5, but I want a larger screen.
3) A dedicated recorder. I've seen some running for around $250-$350 on the Sweetwater site that have good reviews.

I want to be able to plug in route the output from my iPhone or rig into it and get a clean sounding recording (ideally sans my mistakes). If I get the iPad then I could do the whole Jam -> AudioBus -> JamUp XT -> Multitrack DAW.

In a way I am glad that I am starting in music now... there are so many resources (internet being one of them), quality instruments can be found at low cost, etc. Now with virtual modeling the possibilities are endless. This is a great time to be a musician, IMO.

heres the one i just posted in the ik virtual bass unite thread. i hope you can feel the sarcasm i was feeling when i typed it:

Hendrix was released!!!!!
Great news.....for guitar players.
its just what AT ios needed another version of a Marshall Amp.
the feat of porting that down from the desktop version must have been a triumph of development.

I also see on the website that we can use not only a condenser type mic but also a dynamic as well thank you.

and the pedals for Hendrix amazing.....a fuzz....an octaver.....a phaser...aaaaaand a Wah.
stupendous!!!!!

thank you for the Dual Showman. (Sincerely)

Oh, I thought your feedback was your previous post. Well, the voice of the customer is what it is... vendors can always ignore it at their own peril.

one post was on the "time to stop being so Shady" thread i has started.

the second was on the "virtual bass players using iOS Unite" thread

both have had posts deleted before because i had something that wasnt praise, or because i mentioned another product (not theirs) being great.

iPad 2, iPad mini, iPod 5, iPhone 5 are dual core. The iPod 5/ iPhone 5 have A6 CPU which include better GPU which means a little for our apps. Go for iPad mini or iPad 2 as it they are quite cheaper then the iPad 3.

They hide behind these forum rules thing...... So they can delete anything they do not like. They are not shady, they are cowards, and I'm really pissed off as we are the ones which praised them and defended them here on TB forum!! Actually they are rude!

Same here. In the 60-70s the dual showman was a popular amp for bass.

I decided to save myself the headache and use the $14.99 for the Jimi pack to buy Loopy and the bass pack in Jamup. Can't wait for everyone to wake up so I can crank it up!!

Cheers, IK!!

I was gonna get MT DAW this morning, but after upgrading the bass stuff in Jamup, I was in for $9.99 at the App Store. I figured another $2.99 would be ok with the wife, so I'll wait till next week to get DAW. Gives me time to figure out Loopy, and which bass amps I like.
