On continuation of the subject I think the b15 needs a but more oomph in the cab sound. It is a 15 for crying out loud.
Has anyone heard the answer to the question someone else was asking "Are the amps on jamup using cabinet emulation or are the amps used like it was taking a DI signal out the back of the amp" that was a good question.
I think there is cab emulation but I can see where that would come up as a concern.

Because the reds 2x10 for sure reacts and is voiced that way but.... I would like to hear how much is in the output signal from the PG guys

The one in Ampkit have a bit too much of this room ambient sound. The Ashdown ABM for example, sound really nice BUT it is boomy and there are too much of this room "mud" coming from the 8x10" cab.
I think the addition of cab choice and cab mix and match is nice, but I do not really feel like I miss it on Jamup as the tone is great and each amp do have its unique voice. |

B15 with a 15" obviously, SVT Blueline? 8X10"?
Even the BDDI suppose to sound like it is a multi 10" cab. |

Hmmmmm?

Although, I suspect my opportunities to use iOS amps have recently been dramatically lowered. All my ampless gigs were coming through one music director I was working with and he just pulled an upcoming gig from me because I quit his wife's church choir. My other gigs (funk cover band and urban gospel band) like me to have an amp because both directors like to "feel it" (in James Brown style voice) lol.
*shrug* Whaddaya gonna do? I stayed as professional as I could, but both the choir director and her music director husband made it personal.
5sg.

5sg. | Do you tell the guitar player which amp he should use for you to feel it? |

Prieto, I got your iRig to my guitarist friend, but haven't really heard back from him about whether or not he's had a chance to use it yet. I just shot him another message.

5sg. | It's cool. We're just passing the blessing along.
On a previous life I used to hang around the Park Meadows Mall (and the GC across the street from it), Parker, and surrounding areas. Great to see the iRig going to good hands from my old stompin' grounds. It (iRig) may work fine for your guitarrist friend.

| | How does he do that? | | | | | Quick Q: Which of you folks is an undercover guitarrist? No really... you play the bass but every now and then you strap up your 6-string and play your heart out. Who? Just curious...
...and I know Duke has a slight bent for guitar amps and high gain....
