orrr...
eh... not quite...
i went to my mailbox today and this is what i found:
i've been expecting a package, but not one this big. and you'll see why, here:
yep... that's small. what's inside, you ask?
why... it's this:
a Valcoder!
bought on a whim (thanks Nicky!)
i haven't even used it yet, but i'm excited for the possibilities.
yes, a review is coming.
and yes, and updated pedalboard pic, too.
all in good time, friends. all in good time.

We got a bunch of things that he likes and put them in a metal box with a combination lock on it, put chains around it and welded them together, and put this into another metal box that we filled the air space with concrete. Then we built a wooden box around this, drilled out the screw heads, and filled the gaps in with bondo so that it was a completely smooth cube. We gave it to our friend along with a hammer, and let him have at it. It took him about a week. |

It's a lot of fun. Usually a basic gift (book, CD, etc.) turns out looking like something out of The Island of Misfits Toys by the time I'm done. Quote:

no tools are allowed, only your fingers
if you don't have the gift open in less than 2 hours, you dont get the gift
