Many of you might remember this.

When I met Doug Wimbish and I gave him a custom colour 442 red that was mine.

Well

I met JMJ tonight at a Nine Inch Nails gig and I gave him one of my Subdecay Noiseboxes, I hope to hear it obliterating PA speakers in the very near future.

I'm just too kind

Wimbish pic = awesome. While I (strangely) have never been able to get into most of his playing, he seems like a really cool guy from all the interviews I've seen.

JMJ pic = creepy. Looks like you caught him in the bathroom and then took a picture after you both were irradiated

Everything except not getting into Doug's playing is so true. Very bathroom-esque.

So I was wrong about me not being able to get into his playing?

I know what you're saying- I actually like a lot of the old band-related stuff of his I've heard. Just not much of his stuff over the past decade or two. Not that it's bad playing at all- just not the kind that gets to me.

I've always liked his work with Living Colour

To me, the JMJ pic says, "that pedal wasn't all he gave me!"

So just what did you do again, Ste?

On topic: That's cool, though. Hope he decides to start rocking it.

That's just me though- I'm sure I'm in the vast minority.

I have the urge to photoshop a Santa outfit onto Tayste in those pics, but not quite enough motivation to go and do so. Maybe if I'm a good little bassist all year long I can has pedal too?
