Old Ibanez compressor... should I check it out or pass ?

I found a quite cheap compressor made by Ibanez, the EC-30, with built-in noise suppressor, can be used as a floor unit or half-rack. Can't find much info on it. In the classified ads, don't wanna bother the owner (and myself) if it's not worth checking out. Anybody ?

I have a vintage Ibanez BF10 that works great. Still quiet as a mouse. I don't know if it is before or after the EC-30. Every once in a while you get an oldie but goodie.

Not a good gamble unless you feel like doing some modding (soldering).
