I have an old Ibanez Chorus pedal from the 1980s...It should work since it worked when it was put into a box 20 years ago. But is it worth fixing? or is it just a paper weight?

Depends on the model, some are worth it and others may not be.

Very much worth getting repaired, those early Ibanez pedals are very collectible. The trick is finding someone to repair it.

You say "it should work"... why wouldn't you try it before asking whether it's worth fixing?

One sold recently on eBay for $150. Shoegazers love this unit.
