take a look. Its not as awsome as the name applies but its enough to get attention isnt it? I was wondering what kind of effects are used and what pedals is needed. |

I also made use of my bass whammy and another setting on my GT6B..I finished that all off with a nice Tape Echo "
You could've read his description...

| | | | was thinking about the effects, the fact thats its two multipanels dont give me much to follow if i want to recreate something similiar will it? Thinking what analog boxes would be needed. |

Lead part is a slow gear and whammy effect (probably oct up), plus some delay and heavy reverb to make lovely whale type noises, that I (and more famously, Justin Chancellor) like to make.
Background is probably a more conventional synth with a massive delay on it. Basically it just rocks up the envelope up slowly, which is then repeated quickly. I think the boss does that type of synth so I'd imagine that is what is causing it, but I know very little.
Now just imagine something like that being played between songs in a set...that would create one hell of an atmosphere.
[Edit] Single pedal wise, the minimum is probably a whammy, synth and delay. And of course a looper or recording equipment.

...and I think I can almost smell the smoke.

Yeah, the synth sound is actually just a loop i did with distortion and wah and looped it on the gt6b. And everyone on here is basically right. on the GT6B, i have the Slow gear setting on and the whammy i put it an octave up. I got a tape echo, reverb, flanger and distortion running as well. Those are from the Line 6 POD X3. I haven't used this sound in a while cause i really want to try to recreate it on stompboxes instead of multi-effects pedals.
