One answer is all I need...

Quick question: Are compact stompbox Boss pedals roughly the same size/shape as compact stompbox EBS pedals? I'm eyeing it online and they seem to be.

I was just wondering because I was looking at those Boss pedalboards and thought I could fit EBS pedals in there (there seems to be cut-outs in the pedalboard made for Boss pedal shapes).

Thanks for your help.

They're roughly the same size, sure, the Boss pedals are taller, of course, but I can't guarantee the EBS pedals will fit on a Boss pedalboard.

I'd highly recommend investing the money for something like a pedaltrain though, because there may come a time when you want to use something that's not boss shaped (trust me).

Yeah, buying the board with Boss-shaped cutouts is a doomed proposition.

Well there was a used Boss board here for like $30, but you're right. It's only $30 that I'd be spending, but that's still money. Thanks...

Well having said that, they aren't the exact same size, im sure.

Anal would come in when you have a board with little spaces that just don't quite match what your doing.

Just get a nice pedal train or something and set it up neatly.

The EBS pedals are a bit smaller. They are around 7cm wide, 11cm long, and 3cm tall.

I would definately go with a non-boss board. Pedaltrain and T-rex boards are nice, or you can make one yourself quite cheaply if you have some basic tools.

Hehe, for my board im gonna use a 1/2" piece of plywood with velcro stuck/stapled to it. Not sure what to do for handles tho, as im gonna use a board case that I ****ed up the foam in to store it.
