Sorry I don't have any idea, but cheers OP for bringing this music to my attention, had no idea De La Rocha was involved with it. Sick music, time to buy the album methinks.

I just Zack De La Rocha, keys, and drums. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6-XJuE6zI8 I really like that sound too. Octave and gated fuzz would get you pretty close. Maybe some sort of chorus/detune pedal with the fuzz would be closer. It almost sounds like one of the settings on the SYB-5 but dirtier.

I just got really close with with an OC-2>Gnomeratron VTF>MXR Black Label Chorus. The OC-2 is just the octave down cranked with Gnome set up as an Brassmasterish sound. The chorus I'm still fiddling with a bit but right now the rate is around 10:00 depth at nooner bass knob cranked highs at around 3pm. Sounds really really close to me anyway. So try an octaver into an octave up fuzz that has some sort of clean blend will get you very close. I don't even know if the chorus is needed but I always use it for synthy types of sounds.

Here's a quick video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeCvamEpRz4 of my approximation of this sound. I think it's pretty close. I just recorded the audio with a Zoom PS-04 and then took photos of the settings I used because I can't find my tripod and was having no luck rigging something up. I think it gets pretty close. What do you guys think?

No problem. I really liked that band when I first heard them and somehow forgot about them until now. It was fun trying to figure out how to get that sound.

Cool. I really like it. It's my favorite pedal that's for sure. I think the new ones have more options available. I've heard there will be a dark/bright switch and some other changes. Post some pics/info when you get it.

Such a great album. Sorry, I can't add anything to the discussion with regards to tone, but those riffs are fun to play along to.
