One expensive mute switch

Sign in to disble this ad
My little big muff just...went funny. It works like a big mute switch now. No longer does it create a massive fuzz, it just mutes when on. When it's off the signal sails through just like you'd expect...

Any ideas? thanks.

I don't think it could be the jacks or switch? So battery or something on the board?

I only use power jacks, but I'll try a battery and see how it fares.

Either the battery, or a wire connecting the battery, or a wire connecting to the DC jack, or the DC jack itself.

+1.
The pedal must be true bypass to let the signal flow when off.

Now you have a tru bypass mute switch, which is better than just a normal mute switch.

Ooh, ooh...please tell me you had the volume knob all the way down! (I actually did that once, made me so mad when I actually figured it out)

Hey now, we've all forgotten to plug in a power cord at least once in our careers...

My BJFE Blueberry has freaked me out multiple times because I accidentally turn down the volume knob every time I unplug the pedal.
